Prepaid Legal leads can make the distinction between financial success and defeat in your small business. But, not all leads are born equal.

Whether you determine to buy leads or create your own, there are 3 main "archetypes" or categories that you'll find handy in growing your Prepaid Legal business:

1. Possible customers. These leads are interested in one of your products or services. If happy, they may be mindfully introduced to your program with moderate success. But, they didn't start out with an interest in making a profit, and they're going to need a lot of coaching.

2. Opportunity seekers. These individuals are looking for a chance to make money. They may or may not be really serious, that's for you to ascertain. Also, they may or may not have specific interest in MLM or Pre-Paid Legal Services. Your duty will be to find the sincere ones, allay their objections and guide them into your program.

3. Active network marketers. These leads are already in an program, and seeking leadership in how to be successful. They aren't in Prepaid Legal, but you know two very significant things about them: 1) they like the idea of multi-level marketing, and 2) they've proven it with their money by joining a program.

The finest prepaid legal leads are those in the latter group: current MLMers.

Why?

Well, as discussed above, you are certain they have an interest in making cash with multi-level marketing. You aren't going to hear them ask, "Is this one of those ponzi schemes?" and other such ridiculous questions. They're beyond that; they know better.

They also understand the industry better than someone who's never been in MLM. So, once they become a member of your group and get through training, they'll yield results much faster (and with less guidance) than a regular person.

Lastly, they probably know other active MLMers: their sponsor, front line, and even cross-line reps they bonded with at their company conference. These are the kind of people you want as a Prepaid Legal Associate in your organization.

They're in a business, though, and not always looking to initiate something else. It's your job to gently, and with utmost care, pique their attention without setting off any landmines.

The best way to do this is to lead with an offer that assists them in their existing opportunity... something unrelated to your business. Something generic, like advertising tools or education.

Obtain their trust, and prove your worth to them by helping them move forward with their existing program. Show them that, unlike their existing sponsor, you are showing them things that produce results. But make it crystal clear that the only people who get your real focus are the people contributing to your own success.

At that time, working with your team will be the next reasonable action.

In conclusion, you can pursue potential customers, you can pursue opportunity seekers, or you can target active multi-level marketers. Of the three, active multi-level marketers have the utmost potential to explode your group with the least effort. Focus your effort there, and your check will never be the same.
